Core Value: Prayer-Inspired

Prayer is a form of our worship to God. It is an earnest oratory in our daily fellowship with God, as we humbly lift up our intercession and petitions to Him, as we sit at the Master’s feet listening while He ministers to us and gives us the answers we need, as Scripture tells us:

… but in every thing by PRAYER and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.

– Philippians 4:6b

Jesus invested time in prayer with the Father. Jesus was focused on prayer as the channel preceding the ministry and the life He led. In the midst of His daily activities Jesus consistently invested time in prayer. In the same way we pattern ourselves to continually seek the Father and His direction. We should look no further than Jesus, as the ultimate example of a prayer warrior.

We confess our sins with one another, because through prayer and fellowship God gives us the keys to unlocking the floodgates of Heaven so that our prayers will be answered.

Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent PRAYER of a righteous man avails much.

– James 5:16

The Bible teaches us that we are to pray so that the spiritual battles we are engaged in would be overcome. He has given us spiritual weapons for pulling down these strongholds in our lives.

For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against SPIRITUAL wickedness in high places … Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching there unto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;”

– Ephesians 6:12, 18
