Core Value: Servant Leadership

We are called to leadership. Leaders serve for the better of the whole team. In our service towards others, we look no further than at the greatest servant leader of all, Jesus Christ. Our desire is to pattern our service after Him. Jesus, the King who came to seek and save the lost, and the King that gave up His place in Heaven and became the ransom for many. He took on the appearance of a man. He took upon Himself the sins of the world. Jesus’ desire was to do the will of the Father Who sent Him. Jesus delivered the power of the Father Who sent Him. There was not one thing that would take Jesus away from the work He was called to do.

"Abba, Father," he said, "Everything is possible for you. Take this cup from me. Yet not what I will, but what you will."

– Mark 14:36 (NIV)

“My food," said Jesus, "is to do the will of Him who sent me and to finish His work. Do you not say, 'Four months more and then the harvest'? I tell you, open your eyes and look at the fields, they are ripe for harvest.”

– John 4:24-26 (NIV)

We are to labor and minister in Devine service as to the Lord. We seek to build close relationships by caring for one another, loving one another and praying for one another. We must exhort one another in becoming mature in Christ. Making disciples and not converts, this is Jesus’ charge to us. Reach out to those who desire to have a Christ-centered life, to live out and teach His principles. Jesus said that others would know we are His disciples by the love we have for one another. We are to encourage one another. “Let us encourage one another…and all the more as you see the day approaching” Hebrews 10:25 NIV)

We serve each other as we serve the Lord. We put the interest of others ahead of our own. Seeking first to understand before seeking to be understood.

“Not with eye service, as men pleasers; but as the servants of Christ, doing the will of God from the heart; with good will doing SERVICE, as to the Lord, and not to men” (Ephesians 6:6-7 KJ)

Our commitment in service to training and discipleship is not short term. It is a commitment to continue in service until the day Christ returns for His church. We are a conduit to deliver His power. Ethos Ministry is called to come along side the leadership of the local churches, ministries, businesses, and people, to serve, honor and encourage, as His children are taken from where they are to where He desires each of us to be. We are committed to carrying the banner of Christ in the community, in every nation the world we live in and the marketplace where we can have influence daily..

We serve so His JOY may be complete…

Jesus first, Others second, Yourself third.
