Dressed and Ready to Go

A man dressed in a suit, sitting at a table and holding a cup of coffee

Be dressed ready for service and keep your lamps burning, like men waiting for their master to return from a wedding banquet, so that when he comes and knocks, they can immediately open the door for him.

Luke 12:35

In all my years of being in the workforce I have rarely felt over prepared. Isn’t that interesting? Most often the results achieved are a direct result of our preparation. Whether you are working to plant your garden, building a career, or making a presentation, there is no substitute for preparation.

Questions to ponder

  1. Are you prepared for service, even if it means getting up a bit earlier?

  2. Have you figured in extra time for ministry if it comes your way?

  3. Are you willing to adjust your schedule if things suddenly change?

  4. Is it fair to ask God to multiply your time when you spend it frivolously?

Thoughts for the day!

People, who are out to benefit of others, know that starting your day means more than taking a shower and grabbing a cup of coffee and a doughnut. It means preparing for the day ahead before you’re in the middle of it.

Always remember, He makes it happen, you make it count!

Blessings!
