Thirsting for More
“O God, you are my God; I earnestly search for you. My soul thirsts for you; my whole body longs for you in this parched and weary land where there is no water.”
– Psalm 63:1
David’s cry for God, truly expresses the deep, deep spiritual hunger that every believer should experience. In fact, as a believer we want everyone experience. In times of dryness, often life can feel like a desert, it is only God and God alone who can satisfy our souls. This verse encourages us to seek God with our whole heart. As we long for His presence and the refreshing that only He can bring to quench our weary spirits.
God's Act of Satisfying our deepest Longing as the Bible depicts God as actively satisfying the longing of the soul. Psalm 107:9 says, "For he satisfies the longing soul and the hungry soul he fills with good things".

Thoughts
The One Who created you knows what’s best for you. He knows how to refresh you. His watering is never ending, why go after anything else. Go after the Father. He is the Well that will never run dry.
