Accepting the Times
In the last days there will be very difficult times. For people will love only themselves and their money. They will be boastful and proud, scoffing at God, disobedient to their parents, and ungrateful. They will consider nothing sacred. They will be unloving and unforgiving; they will slander others and have no self-control; they will be cruel and have no interest in what is good. They will betray their friends, be reckless and puffed up with pride, and love pleasure rather than God. They will act as if they are religious, but they will reject the power that could make them godly. You must stay away from people like that.
– 2 Timothy 3:1-5
This was Paul’s charge to Timothy. Paul used Christ’s example on how to live.
This scripture shares about the last days. Often when we hear quotes on the last days, we reject them because we think that means tomorrow.
Remember that a day is like a thousand years to God and a thousand years like a day.
With that being said…
Questions to ponder
Does the scripture sound like the goings on of our time?
Whether you are believer or not, how do you feel about the statement Paul made?
Thoughts for the day!
As you go about your daily activities ponder who makes it all possible, and who allows it.
God gave us a free will to do as we please, but who does it benefit and what eternal value does it have? All things are possible but are all things beneficial! Are you living for today?
I charge you to rethink your position because does your living for today leave a positive legacy for tomorrow?
Live your life in such a way that you believe that there is a hell, because one day if you find out there is no hell then you have lost nothing, but if you believe there is no hell and live life according to your rules and find out one day there is a hell, you have lost everything!
The Bible says there is a hell.
Always remember, He makes it happen, you make it count!
Blessings!
